K.I.S.S. Program is Back for 2023!

The K.I.S.S program stands for Keeping Identities of Seniors Safe. The seniors that they are referring to are our Senior Citizens or Senior Americans.

A good rule of thumb to use when it comes to shredding an item(s) is that ‘if it has your name, address, or account number on it and you don’t need it anymore you will want to go ahead and shred it.

Where can you bring your items to be shredded?

Every town hall in Columbia County is a drop-off point and the closest town hall to Philmont, of course, is the Claverack Town Office, 91 Church Street, Mellenville, NY 12544. Items can be dropped off between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. For other towns, in advance of you bringing your items to the town hall, contact them directly to make sure that they are going to be open to receive your items.
