Winter Parking & Snow Removal

PARKING

Between the December 1st and April 1st there is no on-street parking in the Village of Philmont between midnight and 6:00am.

In addition to other penalties and fines, any car parked in violation will be subject to removal at the owner’s expense.

SNOW REMOVAL

Sidewalks adjoining property lines must be cleared of snow and ice by the property owner within 24 hours after a storm ends. Sidewalks that are not cleared of snow and ice 24 hours after a storm will be cleared by the Village at a cost to the property owner of the adjoining premise of $2 a linear foot. Read the local laws.
