STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES

Strengths/Assets: These are things that may already exist in the Village, that you like or enjoy, or that make Philmont great.

Weaknesses/Challenges: These are things that don’t exist in the Village, but should, or things that do exist but are a challenge to Village life.

OPPORTUNITIES & THREATS

Opportunities/Positive Trends: These are positive trends or ideas that could strengthen Village life, especially with investment

Threats/Concern: These are future issues that you see happening in Philmont that the Comprehensive Plan may look into and get ahead of.

COMPREHENSIVE PLAN VISION STATEMENT

Provide 3-5 words that should be woven into Philmont’s Vision Statement. A Vision Statement is a forward thinking phrase or short paragraph that guides future Village actions by setting forth a clear mission statement for the Village.

PRIORITIES

What should the priorities for the Village be over the next 10 years? These can be broad concepts or specific ideas or actions such as: creating safe, inviting public spaces; investing in economic innovation and opportunities; focus on historic preservation; becoming a more climate resilient community; strengthening access to certain services or amenities, etc.

PLACES & SPACES

What are areas os interest in the Village? What are your favorite places, places that need improvement, points of potential future access, etc.
