Village Board of Trustees | 2nd Mon @ 7pm at the Village Hall. Board meetings are open to the public. To comment or ask questions in person sign up in advance by contacting the Village clerk (email [email protected] or phone 518-672-7032) before the office closes at Noon the Friday before the meeting. The Village Hall can be reached via a wheelchair-accessible ramp to the right of the Village Office at 124 Main Street and from an entrance to the second floor on Maple Avenue to the left of the Fire Station doors. Meetings are limited to social distancing regulations and capacity, and masks are required.


Village Board Workshop | 4th Wed @ 7PM, Village Office. Workshops are informal discussions about municipal business. Workshops are open to the public, but participation is limited to the board.

Library Board of Trustees | 1st Wed @7PM, Philmont Library.

Planning Board * | 3rd Tue @7PM, Village Hall.

Zoning Board of Appeals * | 2nd Thurs @7PM, Village Hall.

* Meetings are held only during months when
there is business to conduct.

Village of Philmont Volunteer Fire Department Toyne Fire Truck Referendum

Winter Village Laws will be enforced: No On-Street Parking midnight to 6am from Dec 1 to Apr 1; Snow and Ice Removal.
Winter laws can be found on the back of the quarterly calendar sent with the October water bills and on the village website under Documents > Local Laws.

All Rental Properties and Vacant Buildings must be registered by January 1, 2022.

Should you have a live Christmas tree you would like the DPW to pick up, just place at the end of your lawn. They will be around to pick it up. Please be sure not to block any sidewalk or roadway.

2022 Philmont Village Elections: Tuesday, March 15
Two Trustee positions are open. Candidates wishing to run for office must file petitions by February 8. Petitions can be obtained at the village office.
Trustees Douglas Cropper and Debra Gitterman are up for re-election.
