URGENT NOTICE: Mandatory Water Restriction

STARTING MAY 28TH, A MANDATORY WATER RESTRICTION WILL BE IN EFFECT FOR APPROXIMATELY ONE MONTH.

WHY? Warranty work is scheduled on the Village water tower, which requires it to be emptied.

During this period, only essential household water use will be permitted, including:

  • Showering and personal hygiene (e.g., brushing teeth)
  • Laundry and dishwashing
  • Toilet flushing

All non-essential water use is strictly prohibited, including but not limited to:

  • Washing vehicles or houses
  • Watering lawns, gardens, or flowers (except by watering can — no hoses)
  • Filling swimming pools (please contact the Fire Company or a pool service
    provider for assistance)

Excessive water use during this time may deplete the Village wells and disrupt water service for the entire community. Ensuring a clean and safe water supply depends on everyone’s cooperation. Please do your part to conserve water.
