Village of Philmont Historic District

The nomination of the Philmont Historic District was reviewed and approved by the State Review Board to be listed in the State Registry of Historic Places on Dec 4th, 2023.

The Historic District was additionally nominated and approved to be added to the National Registry of Historic Places on March 15th 2024.

The historic district of Philmont includes 444 buildings and historic artifacts. A total of 352 are listed as “contributing” to the Historic District, and a total of 92 listed as “non-contributing”.

If you want to run for office, pick up a petition at the Village Office.
Petitions with 50 valid signatures are due by February 15th.
Because Saint Patrick's Day falls on Tuesday, elections this year will be held on Wednesday, March 18th.
