Philmont is Fixing Sidewalks!

Thanks to Assemblywoman Didi Barrett and $50,000 in Multi-Modal Funding.

In 2022, New York State Representative Didi Barrett recommended $50,000 in multi-modal funding to repave sidewalks in the Village of Philmont to improve both traffic and pedestrian safety conditions for those traveling through the Village.

Now we’re starting to see the results.

Over the coming months, look for the repaving of sidewalks that are most in need of repair.

While you’re at it, say hello to the crew doing the work!

And many thanks to Trustees Skip Speed and Doug Cropper for organizing the repairs and to Schaible Concrete for their stellar work.
