The Philmont Fire Company, an all volunteer service, provides emergency medical service (911 call Levels 1 and 2) to residents who reside in the boundaries of the Philmont Fire Company, often arriving first on the scene.
The Philmont Rescue Squad encourages new members and will pay for classroom training to become an EMT.
