VILLAGE OF PHILMONT | NOTICE OF ELECTION
Be it resolved that the annual election of and for the Village of Philmont will be held at the Village Meeting Hall, located at the rear of 124 Main Street, Philmont, NY as the polling place for the Village Elections to be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 with polls being open from 12:00 Noon until 9:00 PM.
Two Trustees for a two-year term each are to be elected from the following candidates:

Debra Gitterman, Philmont Neighbors, 23 Maple Ave, Philmont, NY
VOTER REGISTRATION FORMS ARE AVAILABLE IN THE VILLAGE OFFICE, 124 Main street
Election Day | Tuesday March 19 | Noon – 9pm
Philmont Village Elections will take place on Tuesday, March 19th at the Village Hall. Polls will be open from 12:00 noon to 9:00 pm, as usual.
Sample ballots will be made available to the public for inspection by Sunday, March 17, 2024.
Open positions
You’ll be voting to fill two Village Trustee positions this election year. Village Trustees Douglas Cropper and Debra Gitterman are on the ballot for re-election.
Absentee Ballot
Tuesday, March 12, 2024 – Last day to submit an application to the village clerk for an absentee ballot to be mailed to qualified voters.
Monday, March 18, 2024 – Last day to request and pick up in person from the village office an application for an absentee ballot for qualified voters.
Early Mail Ballot
Tuesday, March 12, 2024 – Last day to submit an application for an early mail ballot to be mailed to qualified voters. .
