Philmont’s Draft Climate Plan | OPEN FOR REVIEW UNTIL MARCH 25, 2024

As some of you know, Philmont participated in a county-wide program to assess Philmont’s vulnerability to climate change and develop a plan to reduce its impacts to shore up our long-term safety. This program is called the Change Adaptation and Resilience Plan (CARP).

To submit comments, click the “submit comments” button and follow the instructions on the form. Be sure to select Philmont from the drop-down on the form and indicate the section and provide specific edits in your comments.

We’re being asked to focus our attention to the content of the plan, correct spelling of local features, and the Strategy Implementation Table.

*Note that formatting, appendices, glossary and works cited are under construction.

There is also a place to upload photos (storm damage, flooding, landscapes, iconic features) on the “Submit Comments” form on the web page linked above. Please provide a photo credit using the form.
